Meet The Pastor
About Apostle W. Richards
Apostle Williemeaner Richards is the founder of the Vision of Hope Church in Los Angeles and the senior pastor. She has served diligently in pastoral ministry for over 20 years and Vision of Hope is her second Pastoral charge. Apostle Richards believes in preaching and teaching the Word of God and just as importantly, she believes that we must “live” the Word.
Apostle Richards educational accomplishments include a Bachelor of Arts, Master of Arts, and a PhD all with a focus in Biblical Counseling from the Ministerial Training Institute in Inglewood California. She has also achieved a number of other academic accomplishments, awards, and recognitions. She is a mother, grandmother, role model and mentor.
God uses Apostle Richards in all of the gifts of the Holy Spirit to reveal the powerful meaning of God ‘s love in the lives of His people. Through the inspiration of the Holy Ghost the prophetic anointing speaks directly into the lives of many people; broken hearts have been healed, marriages have been restored, and many people have been set free from the prisons of abuse, shame, pain, doubt, heart ache, and fear.
Through her tireless sacrifice and committed effort lives have been changed for the good. Apostle Richards has been a great asset to the community, by offering consistent community assistance programs that help to sustain and enrich the lives of those in south Los Angeles. Some of the many programs include, emergency housing, utility, and food assistance for those in crisis. As well as educational enrichment classes for adults and youth. By teaching budgeting and household management she has helped diminish dependency on the food pantry which has allowed it to remain a viable resource in the community as well as an outreach tool.
Ultimately Apostle Richards goals are to lead people out of spiritual bondage into a salvific relationship with Jesus Christ as well as teaching them how to make better financial decisions ultimately freeing them from financial slavery.
